Art Glass and Art Glass Paintings by Leif Ahrle
Well known Swedish Artist and Actor
Leif Ahrle is well known to Swedish audiences - first as an artist, but also as an actor at Stockholm's City Theater, Dramaten and SVT (The Swedish Television). Since the 1960's, and for many years, these two forms of creative expression lived side by side. In 1989 Leif moved away from the theater and chose to concentrate totally on art.
Years of progressively more complex and beautiful creations have resulted in a host of acclaimed exhibitions that received great appreciation in both Sweden and abroad.
The paintings are made on sheets of glass which gives a unique depth and light of the rationale, characterizing the source of light in each painting - sun, light, or an explosion in a star's birth.
Hand Blown art glass is another expression that Leif Ahrle use. In recent years, production of his work is located in several of the most prestigious glass studios in Sweden. Leif creates glass art in the clearest blues, ruby reds, and tantalizing black and white. The combining with gold and silver leaf further develops the growing uniqueness and shear beauty of the objects produced.
Leif Ahrle's unique artistry speaks to deeper levels in humans, regardless of age. A passion for deep and arabesque light gives his expressive art a positive charisma.
Bukowskis art expert Louise Lyberg says:
"He paints extraordinarily well with a new and exciting technology. You can see that there is a pro on the go. I wouldn't mind having his art on my walls."
